Goji Berry & Berries Smoothie Recipe

Goji berries have a long history of providing health benefits that the ancient Chinese have cultivated for many thousands of years in China. These berries grow in harsh conditions where over many many years the chinese believe that berries support life longevity, boosting ones immune system and also improving ones eye sight.

So with this vitamin rich berry a daily serving can provide with a well rounded dose of vitamin C, beat carotene and iron. All of which we know support healthy eyesight, and help prevent heart disease and skin damage.

Preparation Time: 10 minutes

Ingredients:

1 cup almond milk or coconut water
1/2 cup strawberries
1/2 cup cherries (seeds removed)
2 tablespoons goji berries
1/2 tablespoon virgin pressed coconut oil
A little organic honey or organic maple syrup

Additional/Optionally Add for a greater protein and nutrition intake
1 tablespoon chia seeds or flax seeds
pinch of chopped almond (flakes)

Directions:

Place all ingredients into a blender
Blend for 45 seconds or until a constancy you prefer to drink is reached
Pour in to tall glass
Top with some almond flakes and a couple of Goji Berries
